ATLANTA — Jenrry Mejia will probably be the Mets’ choice to start Saturday’s game against the Cubs at Wrigley Field.

Jerry Manuel expects a decision to come tomorrow, when rosters can expand to 40 players. Mejia, who began the season in the bullpen for the Mets, would take Pat Misch’s spot in the rotation. The 20-year-old allowed one run over eight innings for Triple-A Buffalo yesterday after taking a no-hitter into the sixth inning. In nine minor-league starts, Mejia is 2-0 with a 1.28 ERA and is averaging more than a strikeout an inning.

“The one thing I heard is he had a good curveball,” Manuel said. “When you go down and get a good feel for that secondary pitch, that’s a big part.”
