We know we’re a little late to this party, but we just got through watching a documentary on devoted Mets fans called Mathematically Alive: A Story of Fandom and wanted to add our thumbs-up. While it could have done without the boring Kentucky college professor pondering why we all love sports (zzzzz) — and the Mike Piazza angle was, to be kind, a little dated — it’s a good way for true orange-and-blue believers to kill 90 minutes instead of fuming about Billy Wagner’s latest blown save.
