The Mets added to their bullpen depth Tuesday, reaching an agreement with right-hander Trevor Hildenberger on a minor league deal.

Hildenberger, who turns 30 next week, spent last season in the Red Sox organization, but did not pitch for the team. He previously pitched for the Twins, under the tutelage of Mets pitching coach Jeremy Hefner.

Hildenberger has pitched to a 5.35 ERA over 132 appearances in the major leagues.
