ATLANTA — The Mets-Braves showdown likely will be more about reign than rain.

After several days of speculation and the teams discussing possible schedule adjustments because of Hurricane Ian, the storm appears as if it will swing farther east than Cobb County, Ga. Truist Park likely will be spared.

Forecasts on Thursday evening showed a slight chance of rain this weekend.

There could be increased winds, but likely nothing that would prevent the series from being played at the Braves’ home.
