Well, that didn’t last long. One day after being promoted to Triple-A, Daniel Murphy was elevated to the Mets today when Marlon Anderson was placed on the DL with a strained left hamstring. 3:35 P.M. UPDATE: Murphy, the Mets’ 13th-round pick in 2006 out of Jacksonville University, is in the lineup tonight in left field and will bat sixth. Carlos Beltran, by the way, is hitting second for the first time this season.
