The Mets and Ike Davis will avoid arbitration, settling on a salary for 2013, according to ESPN.

Davis will make $3.125 million next year, it is believed. In papers filed Friday, Davis asked for $3.7 million, while the Mets came in at a significantly lower $2.825 million. Davis has three more years of arbitration eligibility before becoming a free agent after the 2016 season.

Daniel Murphy is the only arbitration-eligible player the Mets have left this offseason.
