Noah Syndergaard pitched a complete-game shutout Sunday at Citi Field, silencing the Marlins, 1-0, and closing the Mets’ 77-85 season.

Syndergaard allowed five hits and no walks while striking out six to lower his season ERA to 3.03 and improve his record to 13-4.

A day after David Wright’s final game, it was likely Jose Reyes’. Reyes grounded out in his sole at-bat and then was removed from the game. He gave a curtain call to a nice hand from the crowd.
