One Mets fan found a way to waste money and make a fool of himself.

Phillies outfielder Grady Sizemore was retrieving Daniel Murphy’s fourth inning double when a fan attempted to throw their (presumably) beer through the Citi Field fence.

The liquid splashed short of Sizemore and the fan tried to sit down quickly in what we could only guess was a sad attempt at deniability. The cameras clearly catch the fan, though there is no word as to whether he was kicked out of the game.
