Hmmm … you think the Mets’ pathetic offense Monday night was an alarm bell? The players apparently do. It’s still four hours before the first pitch, but almost all of the regulars and several backups are here at Dodger Stadium taking extra BP. Not sure yet if Willie Randolph was behind this, but he’s watching from the outfield as David Wright (pictured), Carlos Beltran and Luis Castillo, among others, take swings. Two notable absences: Carlos Delgado and Jose Reyes. As if they couldn’t use the practice these days.
