Omar Minaya admitted earlier this week that the Mets are in the market for a minimally priced left handed reliever, and that might turn out to be Will Ohman (pictured) the longer that the former Brave sits on the open market. Minaya reportedly reached out to Ohman’s agent on Wednesday but is likely to have competition from the rival Phillies for the lefty’s services. The Mets also are interested in ex-Dodger Joe Beimel, but Beimel is likely to be too expensive.
