There is likely to be a fifth name officially added to the Mets’ GM search, with Dodgers assistant GM Logan White now a candidate.

White has worked with the Dodgers since 2000 and oversees the team’s scouting department. White previously worked in the scouting departments for the Orioles and Padres.

White will join Red Sox assistant GM Allard Baird, White Sox assistant GM Rick Hahn, former Arizona GM Josh Byrnes and MLB’s Sandy Alderson as candidates for the job that’s been vacant since Omar Minaya was relieved of his duties last week.

Hahn is interviewing at Citi Field today with Mets COO Jeff Wilpon and interim head of baseball operations John Ricco, following Baird’s meeting yesterday. Byrnes is scheduled to come in tomorrow and Alderson on Thursday or Friday.
