As the Mets move their Triple-A operations north from New Orleans to Buffalo, they have begun to fill out the Bisons’ roster as Spring Training looms ever closer on the horizon. Seven players were signed to minor league contracts by the Mets today, including one familiar face in Argenis Reyes, a 26-year-old middle infielder who appeared in 49 games last year for the Mets, mostly at second base.

The other players signed were catchers Salvador Paniagua and Omir Santos, infielder Mark Kiger, right-hander Julio De La Cruz and lefties Casey Fossum and Tom Martin. Fossum, Martin and Santos were also invited to major league spring training.
