The Mets have plenty of cloudy timelines for returns on their injured list, but Taijuan Walker and Pete Alonso might be the exceptions.
Walker (right-side tightness) and Alonso (right hand sprain) are eligible to come off the 10-day IL on Friday and Saturday, respectively, and “trending” in the right direction, manager Luis Rojas said Wednesday before the Mets’ game with the Rockies was postponed.

Walker threw live batting practice Tuesday and reported feeling “great” Wednesday. He is scheduled to throw a “touch-and-feel” session Thursday before the Mets decide his next step.
