Outfielder Darrell Ceciliani, the 14th ranked prospect in the Mets farm system entering the season, according to Baseball America, has hit the disabled list with a hamstring strain after running out a grounder to first base in the first inning of Low-A Savannah’s game last night against Hickory.

Ceciliani, who led the New York-Penn League last year with a .351 average, 56 runs and 12 triples for the Brooklyn Cyclones, is 3-for-15 in the early going for Savannah.
