It was a busy day for the Mets’ prospects on the Peoria Sagueros in the Arizona Fall League’s opening day yesterday.

At the plate, Shawn Bowman went 2-for-3 with a run scored, while Daniel Murphy went 2-for-4 with a run scored and an RBI – and, perhaps more importantly, didn’t make an error at 2B for the Mets.

Meanwhile, on the mound, Tobi Stoner allowed a run on three hits in two innings, striking out two and walking one and getting the win. Eddie Kunz and Jason Vargas each threw a scoreless inning later on in the game.
