WASHINGTON — The Mets and Nationals were postponed by rain on Thursday and will play a make up on July 26 as part of a day/night doubleheader.
But the rainout didn’t change Matt Harvey’s schedule. The right-hander is still scheduled to pitch on Friday against the Marlins at Citi Field, weather permitting.
Shaun Marcum, who was supposed to pitch Thursday for the Mets, is scheduled for Saturday, with Jon Niese bumped to Sunday. The Mets finished with a split in the two games they played against the Nationals.
