The Mets re-signed backup outfielder Scott Hairston on Thursday.

Hairston, who flew into New York for a physical on Tuesday, hit .235 with seven home runs and 24 RBIs in 132 at-bats.

Hairston, 31, missed the final month of last season with an oblique injury.
