Mets re-sign Tatis
The Mets are bringing back Fernando Tatis. The veteran outfielder, who was voted the National League Comeback Player of the Year in a baseball-wide vote held by the players association, signed a one-year deal worth roughly $1 million after coming out of nowhere to hit .297 with 11 homers and 47 RBIs in 92 games before injuring his shoulder in mid-September. Mets officials say the shoulder has healed completely, and Tatis already is playing winter ball.
