Jose Bautista is among the players the Mets may consider if they can’t reach a contract agreement with Yoenis Cespedes.

An industry source confirmed Monday that Mets brass reached out to Bautista’s representatives at the GM meetings.

The 36-year-old Bautista batted .234 with 22 homers and 69 RBIs in 116 games last season for the Blue Jays. Bautista teamed with Edwin Encarnacion the last several seasons to give the Blue Jays a premier 1-2 power punch from the right side.
