BOSTON — Daniel Vogelbach’s two-run homer gave the Mets a fourth-inning lead against the Red Sox on Friday night, but all that momentum was about to halt.
After Kodai Senga recorded an out in the bottom of the inning, the game was stopped because of heavy rain. Nearly two hours later, the game was suspended.
The game will resume at 2:10 p.m. on Saturday with the Mets ahead 4-3 in the fourth inning.
The regularly scheduled game, initially slated for 4:10 p.m., has been pushed to 7:10 p.m., allowing for separate admissions at Fenway Park.

Brett Baty doubled leading off the inning and Brandon Nimmo stroked a two-run homer.
After Senga worked a perfect third, Jeff McNeil doubled against Kutter Crawford to begin the fourth and Vogelbach’s blast gave the Mets a 4-3 lead.
