Jose Reyes went 1-for-5 in an extended spring training game this afternoon in Port St. Lucie, keeping him on track to return from the disabled list when he is eligible Saturday.

ESPN.com reports “all indications are he will be ready that day.”

Reyes, who is returning from a thyroid condition, played five innings at shortstop a night after playing the full nine in the field.
