LOS ANGELES — Jose Reyes’ workload increased yesterday, but he still wasn’t deemed ready to run — the biggest test in determining the status of his strained left hamstring.

The Mets shortstop, who missed his third straight game, walked on a treadmill and said he still felt tightness in the hamstring. But he still planned to take grounders and batting practice from both sides of the plate before the Mets faced the Dodgers. On Monday, Reyes just took batting practice left-handed.
