The Mets’ woes have reached Jacob deGrom, even as he faced the worst team in baseball.

The usually dependable right-hander failed to make it out of the fourth inning Tuesday night, allowing a career-high nine runs (six earned) on 10 hits and two walks in the Mets’ 9-1 loss to the Phillies at Citi Field.

DeGrom, who experienced foot discomfort in a July 24 game, said he felt fine physically despite now having been tagged for 20 earned runs and 40 hits in 31 innings over his past five starts.

“No excuses. I was terrible tonight,” drGrom said, adding he didn’t think he needed a break. “It’s unacceptable.”

DeGrom threw 89 pitches through 3 ²/₃ innings, and was hit hard, with opposing starter Ben Lively hitting a homer and driving in four runs.

Catcher Travis d’Arnaud cracked two doubles for the Mets, one of which drove in Nori Aoki for their only run of the night.
