The Mets are getting ready for their next trade.

Ervin Santana was scratched from his Triple-A start for the Mets on Tuesday with MLB’s trade deadline coming at 4 p.m. on Wednesday. The moves come as possible trade pieces Noah Syndergaard and Zack Wheeler are scheduled to start on Tuesday and Thursday, respectively.

The Santana decision was done more with Wheeler than Syndergaard in mind, according to The Post’s Joel Sherman.

The Mets rotation has already undergone significant changes the past two days. They acquired Marcus Stroman from the Blue Jays on Sunday and traded away Jason Vargas to the Phillies on Monday.

The 36-year-old veteran Santana signed with the Mets in May after three woeful starts with the White Sox to start the season.
