The Mets have settled a lawsuit with the team’s disgruntled former first female vice president — who claimed she was canned because co-owner Jeff Wilpon was “morally opposed” to her having a baby out of wedlock.

Former Mets executive Leigh Castergione and the team announced the settlement Friday in a joint press release.

“The parties have decided to resolve this matter, which has brought more attention to the workplace environment for women in sports and will result in the organization being more attentive to the important issues raised by women in sports,” the statement said, according to NJ.com.

“Additionally, we are both committed to the further development and encouragement of female executives in our industry. Both sides‎ have agreed to have no further comments.”

Castergione, a University of Pennsylvania grad, sued the Mets in September after she had been fired.

The suit states Wilpon “frequently humiliated [her] in front of others by, among other things, pretending to see if she had an engagement ring on her finger.”

Wilpon argued in court papers that Castergione was fired for “legitimate business reasons.”
