Start spreading the blues — the Yankees are no longer the hottest baseball ticket in town.

The average price of a regular-season Mets ticket at Citi Field is up almost 19 percent, while the average price to see the Bombers has plummeted 27 percent in their first year without Derek Jeter.

The Amazin’s are currently fetching an average of $104 for a ticket on resale sites like StubHub and others. Last year, fans shelled out roughly $88 to see the struggling squad, according to TiqIQ, a resale-market aggregator.

The price to see the Mets home opener is also up, with tickets to see the team square off against bitter division rival Phillies on April 6 going for an average of $203 — up 37 percent from last year’s price of $148.

Prices for the Bronx Bombers at home, meanwhile, are declining, with the average price of a regular-season ticket just over $101.

The price of a ticket to their home opener against the Toronto Blue Jays on April 6 is down, too; going for $159 compared to last year’s price of $195.

“There is a little bit more excitement around the Mets this year,” said TiqIQ spokesman Chris Matcovich. “You have all this young talent coming up.”

Yankee fans said Jeter’s departure signaled the end of the team’s glory days.

“I’m not surprised at all [about the drop in ticket prices],” said Bronx resident John Thomas. “Once that core left — Jeter, [Jorge] Posada, [Andy] Pettitte, [Mariano] Rivera — that was it.”

“A-Rod doesn’t cut it, especially with those [steroids] he was taking,” he added. “This is the NEW New York Yankees. These are not the Yankees our fathers and grandfathers came up on.”

Mets fan Wayne Maxaner, a construction worker from Deer Park, LI, said the return of pitching ace Matt Harvey is one of the reasons fans are paying more for seats at Citi Field.

“Everyone is saying its the Mets’ year,” he said. “Matt Harvey is back! Its all about the pitching staff. They have best pitching staff in baseball right now. Harvey’s probably going to win the Cy Young award.”
