Tim Lincecum will have a showcase Feb. 15, outside Seattle. The Mets were linked to having some interest in Lincecum earlier this year and were considering sending a scout to the workout, but a club source said Friday night they will not be sending a scout to the showcase. Some starting pitching options remain on the free agent market.

Lincecum, 33, did not pitch in 2017 and last pitched in the majors in 2016 with the Angels. The two-time Cy Young winner was 2-6, with a 9.16 ERA that year but has been working out at Driveline Baseball, in Kent., Wash., trying to resurrect his career.
