The Mets quickly traded their lone Rule 5 draft pick, right-hander Carlos Monasterios, to the Dodgers for cash as the Winter Meetings prepared to wrap up today in Indianapolis.

Monasterios had been selected earlier today by the Mets from the rival Phillies’ AAA Lehigh Valley roster.
