The Mets are one win away from the NLDS.

They overcame a 2-0 deficit in the first inning, and Luis Severino rallied from his rough start as the Mets beat the Brewers 8-4.

Jesse Winker delivered a huge two-run triple in the second inning to tie the game at 3-3, and after later falling behind again 4-3, the Mets used a two-out rally in the fifth inning to turn the tide of the game.

Jose Iglesias beat out an infield singe to tie the game at 4-4, and Mark Vientos singled to drive in two runs and give the Mets a 6-4 lead.

J.D. Martinez subsequently joined the party, driving in two more runs with a single of his own to give the Mets their 8-4 lead.

The Mets will have Sean Manaea on the hill for Game 2 on Wednesday with a chance to sweep the Brewers.

Severino stabilized after a rough start, allowing four runs, eight hits and two walks while striking out three batters in six innings of work.

He finished with 105 pitches and retired his final eight batters.
