Francisco Alvarez gave the Mets everything they’ve asked for in fiery Game 5 performance

There appeared to be some back-and-forth between Francisco Alvarez and Andy Pages, who crossed home plate after his first home run and exchanged words with the Mets catcher.

In the immediate aftermath, it was unclear what was said.

More clear was that amid a quiet postseason, it was not just Alvarez’s mouth that spoke up Friday.

Game 6 preview provides hope for Mets

It ain't over til it's over.

A glimmer of hope for the Mets to keep their amazing postseason going has emerged. It will be a bullpen game for the Dodgers against Mets' ace Sean Manaea, who has a 2-0 record this postseason with 17 strikeouts.

Now the Mets will head back to LA after their Game 5 victory, to try and keep their playoff run going.
