ATLANTA — Jon Niese won’t skip his next start, after all.

Jerry Manuel said the young lefty might miss a turn in the rotation after Sunday’s loss, when Niese fell apart against the Diamondbacks, but he is still on schedule to pitch on Friday in the series opener in Philadelphia against Joe Blanton.

Jenrry Mejia, who has been out with a right shoulder injury, was activated from Double-A Binghamton’s disabled list and placed on Single-A St. Lucie’s roster today.
