Both the Mets and Yankees have two draft picks from the 2008 draft class playing in the College World Series. Stanford teammates Jeremy Bleich (LHP, 2nd round, Yankees) and Sean Ratliff (OF, 4th round, Mets) will take on another Yankee selection, Florida State OF Jack Rye (13th round) in the tournament’s first game. The Mets other pick is OF Seth Williams, a 40th round selection from North Carolina.
