The floundering Mets have a reason for optimism.
The current plan is for injured superstar outfielder Juan Soto to return to action Wednesday against the Twins, The Post’s Jon Heyman reported Tuesday.

Soto, 27, has not played since April 3 due to a right calf strain.
He is 11-for-31 with one homer and five RBIs in eight games this season.
