The Mets are calling up the 23-year-old infielder ahead of Thursday’s doubleheader against the Orioles in Baltimore, The Post’s Jon Heyman first reported.
Outfielder Travis Jankowski is getting designated for assignment in a corresponding move.
Right-handed pitcher Austin Warren has been summoned as the 27th man for the doubleheader.
Acuna, who has mostly played second base this year but has also appeared at shortstop and third base with a one-game cameo in center field, was optioned to Triple-A on June 23.

Acuna has a .241 average, .576 OPS, six RBIs and 11 steals across 158 MLB plate appearances this season.
He won NL Rookie of the Month in April by hitting .288 through the season’s first full month, but posted a .452 OPS over 79 plate appearances in May and June.
Wednesday’s game was rained out, which resulted in Thursday’s regularly scheduled 1:05 p.m. start to be moved up to 12:05, with the second game of the split-admission doubleheader set for 5:05.
