The world has found the one pitcher who can’t help the 48-76 Rangers.

Taking her rightful place on the pantheon of first-pitch nightmares, joining 50 Cent and Chrissy Teigen, is Miss Texas, aka Monique Evans.

Evans, sporting a tiara and a smile that verifies everything is bigger in the Lone Star State, threw (bowled?) out the ceremonial first pitch before the Rangers-Angels game in Arlington on Friday. It didn’t go well.

The pony-tailed beaut attempts (we think) an underhanded, softball-styled approach, but releases the ball far too early. The pitch soars through the air for, generously, a foot, before bouncing its way toward home plate.

She nails the dismount, though, striking a ballerina pose because oh, she is a professional ballerina. She clearly is talented; just not on the baseball diamond.
