Updating the Mets’ latest medical situations following their 3-2 win over the Marlins this afternoon at Citi Field: Carlos Beltran: The center fielder was a late scratch today due to a stomach virus but is expected back for the start of the Pittsburgh series Monday night.

John Maine: The Mets’ starter left today’s game with the same stomach virus that afflicted Beltran after throwing six scoreless innings. Maine is expected to be fine and not miss any starts.

Angel Pagan: Beltran’s replacement in center left today’s game in the top of the fourth inning with right groin discomfort. He underwent a postgame MRI exam but is listed as day-to-day.
