PORT ST. LUCIE — This isn’t a good sign: The Mets have sent outfield candidate Angel Pagan back to New York for an MRI exam tomorrow on his ailing right elbow. Pagan has been sidelined since Thursday due to swelling in the elbow, and what could be an extended absence doesn’t bode well for his chances of winning a roster spot.
