Daniel Murphy, the Mets’ impressive young outfielder who is playing second base in the Arizona Fall League, is expected to return to action in a day or two after taking a spike to the forearm in last Friday night’s “Rising Stars” all-star game. Murphy had to be taken to a Phoenix-area hospital because of the cut to his arm and hasn’t played since then.
