Thanks to a two-run double in the bottom of the ninth inning from host Tri-City (Houston) 3B David Flores, the National League capped a three run comeback in the last frame to take home a 4-3 win in the NY-Penn League All-Star Game tonight at Tri-City’s stadium in Troy, N.Y.

Seven players from the local teams were in Troy for tonight’s game (five from S.I., two from Brooklyn). For Staten Island, pitchers David Phelps, Pat Venditte and Andrew Stohr each pitched a scoreless inning for the American League, while catcher Brian Baisley doubled in his only at-bat and 3B Mike Lyon went 1-for-3.

For Brooklyn, Brad Holt and Yury Santana each picked scoreless innings.
