Watch out for flying bats and balls. It’s good advice for everyone except Mets shortstop prospect Luis Guillorme, who showed no fear in the face of danger Thursday in a spring training game against the Marlins.

Guillorme was watching the game from the dugout when Miami’s Adeiny Hechavarria lost control of his bat while flailing at a Robert Gsellman pitch. The bat flew into the Mets dugout, sending players and coaches scurrying for cover – all except Guillorme.

Guillorme kept his cool, making a one-handed, over-the-shoulder grab and calmly flinging the bat back onto the field.

Guillorme, a 22-year-old from Florida, is rated as the team’s 17th-best prospect by MLB.com after spending 2016 with Single-A St. Lucie.

Whether he makes the bigs one day or not, Guillorme will be remembered as one of the highlights of this Mets spring training.
