Your friend scoring $137.5 million appears to improve your mood.

Noah Syndergaard sounds much happier on Tuesday, in the hours after the Mets and Jacob deGrom struck a long-awaited five-year extension.

Syndergaard, who vented Sunday about the hold-up, imploring the Mets to “pay the man” while also blasting the team for voyaging to Syracuse on their first off-day before the season starts, can take a breath. And let out a holler.

So he turned to “Old School.”

It had gotten worse before it got better. That dreaded Syracuse plane trip — to usher in the new location for the team’s Triple-A affiliate — was delayed 3 and a half hours Monday night.

But Syndergaard now can smile, even if he can’t smile in his New York apartment.
