Bad news continues to rain down on the Mets.

Two days after announcing Michael Conforto’s surgery, the team revealed surgery plans for T.J. Rivera and Josh Edgin.

Rivera, 28, will undergo Tommy John surgery for the partially torn ulnar collateral ligament in his right shoulder, and Edgin will have arthroscopic surgery on his left knee.

On Saturday the Mets said Conforto, 24, will undergo surgery this week in Los Angeles to repair the tear in the posterior capsule of his left shoulder. Conforto’s rehab is expected to last at least into spring training, but the team won’t know more until after the surgery.

In Rivera’s case, the rehab from Tommy John surgery could be less significant than the 12-14 months most pitchers face. Rivera had been attempting to heal the UCL through rehab for the last month.

The Mets also announced David Wright would need rotator cuff surgery.
