You don’t get to fire the coach or pick the lineup — but the lobster, parking privileges and shot at a World Series ring are still pretty awesome.

A mystery stakeholder in the New York Yankees is selling a 1 percent ownership share in the storied franchise for an estimated $24 million, an opportunity for the most loyal and wealthy of fans to enter a rarefied world of luxury-box prime-rib buffets, all-expense-paid trips to spring training, invites to player and press events and even “owners parking” privileges.

Then there’s the chance for a World Series ring, the best ownership perk of all.

“Wearing a World Series ring is crazy,” one owner’s family member told The Post.

“People stop you on the street and are literally, ‘Holy s–t!’ It’s like rock-star status.”

Only three dozen limited partners hold minority stakes of 1 percent or higher, with the last one selling in 2011 to wealthy retired New York oil trader Ray Bartoszek.

Other minority owners include the Nederlander theater family, the family of billionaire Chicago industrialist Lester Crown and public-relations czar Howard Rubenstein, whose eponymous firm has repped the franchise for decades.

The Yanks are the third most valuable sports franchise in the world — behind Real Madrid soccer club and the Dallas Cowboys — and are valued at about $3 billion, according to Forbes.

The team’s worth has only skyrocketed over the years, making it a lucrative investment.

In 1973, the same year George Steinbrenner purchased the Yanks for $8.8 million, Crown bought a 10 percent share for about $1 million and has rolled it over ever since, he told Newsday five years ago. Now it’s worth more than $200 million.

Surprisingly, one perk that isn’t free is game seats, said a stakeholder who asked not to be identified by name.

“You feel like you are in the mother ship,” the owner said of the perk of dining on prime rib in the George Steinbrenner Suite. “You are with people who really care” about the team. You feel as if you are in the hub of love and devotion to the Yankees.”
