Eduardo Nunez is not in the lineup again for the Yankees.

The shortstop has not played since leaving Sunday’s loss to the Athletics with a rib cage injury. Nunez hit in the cage Friday before the team’s game against the Royals and said he didn’t feel anything. He hopes to take batting practice on the field Saturday.

Jayson Nix will take over at shortstop and bat sixth.
