President Obama takes being a fan of the White Sox very seriously.
Obama officially joined Twitter on Monday morning under the handle @POTUS, and began following people — and sports teams. The former Illinois senator followed all of Chicago’s sports teams with one glaring exception.
The Cubs jumped on the social media opportunity by asking the President to re-think the decision.
They even asked his wife Michelle — a Cubs fan — to exercise her influence.
