Now that the Willie Randolph circus has died down a little bit, the Mets will go after their first win under interim boss Jerry Manuel here tonight when Oliver Perez takes on Angels right-hander Jon Garland. Following in the footsteps of Carlos Beltran and David Wright, Carlos Delgado will be the Mets’ DH in this evening’s finale. Manuel also is giving second baseman Luis Castillo (bruised wrist) the night off and resting catcher Brian Schneider.
