According to the Mets, who provided this action photo above, the original Home Run Apple from Shea Stadium was installed today at Citi Field in the Bullpen Plaza, an area open to the public behind the bullpens. A new Home Run Apple will be in place in center field at the new park. The old Home Run Apple debuted in 1980.
