Mets GM Omar Minaya has been killed (and rightfully so) for a couple of trades he’s made during his time with the team. One of them has always been trading hard-throwing relievers Matt Lindstrom and Henry Owens for Adam Bostick and Jason Vargas.

While Lindstrom ended the season as the closer in Florida, Owens has been suspended 50 games for testing positive for performance enhancing drugs. He didn’t pitch at all last season while recovering from shoulder surgery.
