In an exclusive interview with colleague Mike Puma in today’s edition of The Post, Pedro Martinez lobbies the Mets for a return to Queens at age 37. I’m thinking the Mets should probably move on and continue to get younger, especially if bringing back Pedro would keep them from finding out what Jon Niese could offer in the No. 5 spot. We’ll see, though, especially considering how much GM Omar Minaya likes Martinez.
