Very impressive performance from Mike Pelfrey, who tossed three innings and faced 13 hitters and had 12 of them hit the ball on the ground. Pelfrey said afterwards, “It’s a good indication that everything was down.”

Pelfrey gave up two runs, but both were unearned. He gave up three hits.
